Spokane Red Kettle Campaign

The Salvation Army’s best known fundraiser! The annual campaign involves hiring 200+ bell ringers and organizing 150+ volunteers who work tirelessly in November and December to encourage others to put money in our iconic red kettles. Money raised goes to support all of our programs year round. This year's campaign goal is to raise $500,000.

What is the money used for?

Our Spokane campus is two-city blocks, where we serve and shelter families and couples in need of housing through our homeless housing programs; Stepping Stones Transitional Housing and the Family Emergency Shelter. Additionally we have the county's largest Food Bank located at our Family Resource Center where we serve over 2 millions pounds of food annually.

Funds raised throughout the year also go towards our Family Nurturing and Visitation Center, where children have a chance to safely and securely re-build bonds with their family though supervised visits. Finally Sally's House established in 2002 is the only Emergency Foster Care Receiving Facility in the region, housing up to 20 children ages ranging from 2-12.

We are looking for volunteers and paid employees.
